Two decades of tending this land, and we’re just getting started.
Engelke Farm is run by a husband and wife team, their three kids, and two Newfoundlands, on 130 acres in Rensselaer County. We’re a producer-only farm, which means everything you find here, from the flowers to the pumpkins, is grown right on our land. For us, a trip to the farm doesn’t need to be complicated. It’s fresh air, fresh food, and time spent together.

Fall at the Farm
After Labor Day, the farm transforms for fall! Bring the family for hayrides to the pumpkin patch, our corn maze, farm animals, and, of course, our homemade apple cider donuts.
But there’s more to Engelke Farm than what we grow! Take a walk on our 1.5-mile walking trail along beautiful
Poestenkill Creek, or stop by to meet and feed some of our rescue farm animals.
Dogs are welcome, too!
Hayrides & Farm Fun
Take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch, wind through the corn maze, and visit the farm animals along the way.
Pick Your Own
Choose your own pumpkins, gourds, and winter squash, or cut your own sunflowers and zinnias right from the field.
Fall Decor & Trail
Straw bales, corn stalks, Indian corn, handmade wreaths, scented brooms, mums, and fall plants, plus foliage views along our walking trail.

When Spring Comes
Spring at Engelke Farm means flowers, vegetable starts, and the first signs of the growing season. Whether you’re planting a garden or picking out something for Mother’s Day, our nursery is stocked with what we’ve grown ourselves.

Beyond the fields, Engelke Farm is home to rescue animals you can visit and feed, and a 1.5-mile walking trail along the Poestenkill Creek. Dogs are welcome on a leash. Come fall, we also host a few events worth marking on your calendar.
